Karina Von Forell was designed in 1977 by Doug Peterson as a crewed racing sailboat. Karina was made in aluminum and offers excellent maneuverability thanks to her efficient equipment. Guests can join the sailing experience and learn how to helm an authentic sailboat in complete safety. Karina was built by S.A.I. Ambrosini, an Italian aeronautical company that also built "Il Moro di Venezia" and "Yena" (one of the boats that survived the 1979 Fastnet). Karina dominated international regattas winning the championship title for three consecutive seasons.

The interior spaces are made of a large four-berth cabin, a bathroom, and a separate cabin for the captain. Shower is on the foredeck. The kitchen area doesn't have a fixed table, but two small foldable tables for temporarily placing supplies instead. Each crew member will have his own stainless steel cup/glass and plate/bowl with an engraved number in order to reduce plastic waste and pollution onboard Karina. A valve in the kitchen area allows you to select either seawater or freshwater for use.

Our Crew: Sharing a passion for sailing

Sailing is our lifestyle more than a business. Karina and Pepa are historical boats designed with specific navigation requirements. Our mission is to preserve them and open them up to anyone who wants to experience true authentic sailing. Sharing the experience offered by Karina and Pepa is our goal. That's why our proposal will always stand out from any tourist and commercial charter. Sailing with Karina and Pepa means experiencing our boats more than being hosted by them. We want to share our passion with anyone who wants to sail with us. We offer our experience to allow our guests to fully enjoy every aspect of sailing.
